About The Motel

Originally named Aireys Inlet Motel, the motel was built to stimulate employment in Aireys Inlet after the 1983 Ash Wednesday bushfires. The project was initiated by the Painters and Decorators Union who owned and operated the motel until the 1990s. Local young people were apprenticed in their trades during the project and many went on to open their own businesses and continue to service the local area.

Lightkeepers Inn Motel offers affordable and comfortable accommodation. It has 20 rooms, comprised of Queen rooms, Twin rooms, Spa rooms and Family rooms (hyperlink to the accommodation/rooms page). It also has a small, but fully equipped meeting room (hyperlink to conference room) perfect for conferences, workshops and meetings.
