Lightkeepers Inn Motel

The following Terms and Conditions apply to bookings made directly with the Motel, either by phone, walk in or the "Book Now" button on the motel website. By making a booking with Lightkeepers Inn Motel, you accept these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice.

  1. A valid credit card must be provided when a booking is made. Please ensure you have enough fund in the credit card to secure the booking.
  2. During off peak period, flexible bookings can be modified or cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the arrival date without attracting a fee.
  3. Same day bookings and bookings made after the 48-hour cancellation and modification period are Non-refundable. Payments for non-refundable bookings are taken at the time of booking or shortly afterwards without notice. Failure for the Motel to secure payment may result in the booking cancelled without notice. No cancellation and/or modifications are allowed on non-refundable bookings.
  4. Payments for flexible bookings are taken after the 48-hour cancellation and modification period prior to arrival without notice. Please ensure you have enough fund in the credit card to secure the booking.
  5. If a flexible booking is cancelled or modified after the 48-hour cancellation/modification period, full amount of the stay will be retained.
  6. A 7-day modification period applies for bookings made for the Peak period and Public Holidays, ie, 25 December - 30 January, Australia Day, Labour Day weekend, Easter Holiday, ANZAC Day, Queen's Birthday Holiday, AFL Grand Final weekend and Melbourne Cup Weekend. Failure to do so will result in the full amount of the stay be retained.
  7. Check-in is from 2pm - 7pm on the arrival day. If you intend to arrive later than 7pm, please contact the motel in advance to make alternative check-in arrangements. Failure to arrive by 7pm without notifying the motel in advance will result in your booking be cancelled without notice and full amount of your stay retained.
  8. If a booking is made on behalf of another person, and/or the name of the guest staying is different from the name on the credit card used to make the booking, the Motel reserves the right to obtain authorisation of payment from the person whose credit card is used to make the booking. If authorisation is not obtained, the Motel reserves the right to cancel the booking without notice.
  9. When checking-in, guests are requested to provide a photo ID and a valid credit card matching the name on the booking as room guarantee. If a guest does not have a credit card, or the name on the credit card does not match the name on the booking, a cash bond of $250 is required as room guarantee. Debit card and EFTPOS card cannot be used as room guarantee.
  10. Bank fees and surcharges apply to card transactions for incidental charges, eg postage.
  11. All Third Party booking websites (eg. Booking.com) have their own modification and cancellation policies. If a booking is made via a third party, the conditions of that particular booking entity will be adhered to. Please note that these may be different from the motel booking conditions and policies.
  12. Please note the Motel has a no smoking policy in the rooms and along the walkway. $250 will be charged if smoking is detected in the rooms or along the walkway. Smoking is allowed on the driveway only where the ashtrays are located. Please put the cigarette butts in the ashtrays, not in the rubbish bins in the rooms.
  13. Each room has a microwave oven which is used for heating food. In consideration of guests staying after you, please refrain from heating strong smelled food. Your credit card will be charged for extra cleaning, deodorising and loss of income if the room is not able to be sold.
