Open every second Sunday of each month from October to June, Aireys Inlet market offers a variety of locally made and produced food, arts and crafts. The ethos of the market is “Homegrown, Handmade, Recycled, Vintage, Local”. 

The market is 1 minute by car from the motel or 8 minutes on foot.

Conducted the weekend after Labour Day weekend in March every year, the Open Mic Festival is a three-day premium music festival. It offers a fantastic opportunity for up and coming musicians as well as established groups to perform to large audiences. Musicians of different genres travel from across country to Aireys Inlet to perform in its many stages dotted around the town. The festival runs on sponsorship and donations and is free to attend. All money raised goes back into the organisation and the improvement of the event.

BArk Hut

A replica of a settler’s hut from the 1860’s. It is a playground and a perfect place to relax and unwind. There is information on site providing an overview of the history of the building.

A fine art gallery situated 150 metres from the motel, Eagles Nest Gallery is a “Must See” while visiting Aireys Inlet. It has an eclectic collection of art and glass work made by artists from the Geelong-Otway region.

split point lighthouse

Built in 1891, it is considered to be the most elegant lighthouse on the Australian coastline. Even though it is unmanned, it is a working lighthouse emitting 4 flashes of light every 20 seconds and is visible for 30km at sea.

The lighthouse is open daily for tours. So see this beautiful coast from above!
