Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation policy applies to bookings made directly with the Motel, either by phone, walk in or the "Book Now" button on the motel website. By making a booking with Lightkeepers Inn Motel, you accept the Cancellation policy. The Policy is subject to change without notice.

1. Cancellation requests MUST be made via email.

2. No cancellations are allowed on non-refundable bookings.

3. Where a guest fails to arrive by 7pm of the arrival day without prior arrangement or notification, the reservation will be automatically cancelled, and the rate of the entire stay will be charged.

4. During off peak periods, a booking can be cancelled any time up to 48 hours prior to 2pm of the arrival date. Failure to provide at least 48 hours notice of cancellation will result in a cancellation fee, ie, the first night's stay.

5. A 7-day cancellation period applies for bookings made for the Peak period and Public Holidays, ie, 25 December - 30 January, Australia Day, Labour Day weekend, Easter Holiday, ANZAC Day, Queen's Birthday Holiday and Melbourne Cup Weekend. Failure to do so will result in the first night's stay being charged.

6. Reservations made directly with Lightkeepers Inn Motel, either by phone or  the Book Now button on the motel website, should be cancelled directly with the Motel. Please observe the cancellation policy to avoid a cancellation fee.

7. Reservations made through a Third Party Agent, eg Booking.com, Expedia, must be cancelled with the Third Party Agent. Cancellation policy and fees of the Third Party Agent apply.

8. Refunds:

  • No shows (see Cancellation policy #3) – Incur a Cancellation fee
  • NO refunds for cancellation/modification of bookings outside  the cancellation/modification period
  • NO refunds for early or unexpected departure
  • NO refunds for room changes.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse a refund after check-in.
